A glamour model and reality TV star has set up an online dating agency – strictly for BRUMMIES. “I’m looking for love myself,” the Tamworth pin-up, a regular in lads’ mags Nuts, Zoo and Loaded, said.
Lucy, who wowed fans in ITV’s dating game show Take Me Out” has teamed up with online match-making entrepreneur Jack Knowles and PR guru Lisa Smith to launch Birmingham uk.
The 25-year-old hit on the website idea after uncovering a distinct lack of opportunities for those looking for lasting love in Birmingham. “Jack and I put our heads together and decided ‘Why not? “Birmingham has an amazing nightlife and social scene, but it’s difficult to meet people.
There are so many places to go, but no singles nights.” Lucy and Jack intend to put that right with a series of evenings for those unlucky in love.
Lucy insists that, despite her spectacular shape and army of fans, she’s among them. “Perhaps men feel a little intimidated by me, but the reality is that I’m just a down to earth person.
“I’ve also suffered from a lot of jealousy from other women but it’s based on false views. Years ago dating agencies were seen as a desperate thing to do, but now, with people living such busy lives, it’s becoming the norm.
“Birmingham needs somewhere for single people to go – but it needs to be done in the right way.
“People might feel intimidated to go speed-dating on their own.
